Jamato (Pty) Ltd was established as a sister company within the Retecon Group in 1995 and entered the market with machines from the Asian market.

The Company then changed it’s name in 2001 to PUMA MACHINE TOOLS after an opportunity arose when we were offered the sole agency for the Machine Tool Division of DAEWOO HEAVY INDUSTRIES from Korea.

To date, the company specialises in the selling and servicing of machines from South East Asia.

Puma Machine Tools (Pty) Ltd represents the following international brands: Chevalier, Chin Fong, Citizen Machinery Co., Ltd, Cosen, CSM, DN Solutions, Iemca, JFY, Parkson and Visionwide Tech.
