The Kronos Plate Processor for Drilling and Thermal Cutting

The Kronos Plate Processor from FICEP, combines high performance drilling and thermal cutting into one integrated plate processor.  The system can be configured with a high performance “Direct Drive” drill spindle capable of performing diverse operations with an automatic tool changer.

Thermal cutting can be generated with one or two Hypertherm plasma torches for both straight and bevel cutting for weld prep.  The Kronos bridge can also be equipped with multiple automatically adjustable oxy-fuel torches for processing thicker plates.

The Kronos can be supplied with a down draft table to exhaust the particulate matter that is generated from the thermal cutting operations.  An additional Kronos or Gemini plate processor can be incorporated into the same cutting system for enhanced productivity in essentially the same space.
